Tanner's Meat and Vegetable Marinades
Yay for summer! It's time to get our grill on, thanks to the totally rad Christmas present given to the BF by my parents; the one, the only, the Weber grill!!! Hooray! Until this summer we had been having to make do with a teeny tiny grill, which fit practically nothing on it. Now we can fill it up and have leftovers for lunch tomorrow, yippee!
My great-uncle Tanner had THE BEST marinades for meats and veggies, I will commence sharing them with you now. You're welcome!
Meat Marinade
1 qt Red wine vinegar
1/2 C Ground mustard
1/2 C Garlic powder
2 T Oregano
Hot Sauce- 1 T of Franks or 1 tsp Tabasco
Scaled down:
1 C Red wine vinegar
2 T Ground mustard
2 T Garlic powder
1 tsp Oregano
3/4 tsp Franks hot sauce
Grilled Veggie Marinade
1 qt Olive oil
1/2 C Basil
1/2 C Minced garlic
1/2 C honey
1/2 T Frank's or 1/2 tsp Tabasco
Scaled down
1 C Olive oil
2 T Basil
2 T Minced garlic
2 T Honey
1/2 tsp Frank's
